Experience
Michael is a director in Citrin Cooperman’s National Tax Office. He brings extensive experience in a wide array of complex technical tax matters, including partnership transactions, mergers and acquisitions, state and local tax compliance, real estate, and estate and gift tax. Michael is also very skilled in representing clients before the IRS and state tax departments and regularly helps achieve favorable resolutions for clients with these agencies.
Previously, Michael was the head of tax quality and technical matters at Ostrow Reisin Berk & Abrams, Ltd. (ORBA), which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2025. In this role, he regularly researched and responded to inquiries from teams across the firm while also delivering periodic firm-wide training and communications on key tax updates and developments.
