Gil Watkins is a consultant in Citrin Cooperman’s White Plains, NY office. He has more than 30 years of experience providing a full spectrum of accounting, tax compliance, and counsel to businesses in a range of industries, including architecture, engineering, retailers, family-owned businesses, marketing, and other professional services.
Gil brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to his clients’ financial goals and issues, and is highly skilled in developing strategies to maximize their profitability. His areas of expertise include financial analysis and performance measurement, succession planning, audit representation, and bank financing. He also works closely with clients to understand their issues and effectively solve challenges with regards to business operations, tax strategies, and structuring transactions.
Gil previously spent 30 years at Schwartz & Hofflich, LLP, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2010.

Gil is highly involved in his local community and serves as the Treasurer of the Norwalk Rotary Club, for which he also served as a past president. He is also currently the Treasurer of the Norwalk Mentor Scholarship Dollars for Scholars, Inc., a member of the Norwalk Chamber of Commerce, and serves on the Endowment Board of St. Paul’s on the Green, Norwalk.
