Lauren serves as the national assurance acquisition and integration director and she is based out of the firm’s Providence, Rhode Island office. With over a decade of experience in the public accounting industry, Lauren is highly regarded for her reputation in fostering operational excellence and adept utilization of technology. Lauren seamlessly blends productivity techniques with practical wisdom and a collaborative spirit. Her holistic approach underscores her commitment to excellence and ability to inspire confidence and trust in both colleagues and clients alike.

Before joining Citrin Cooperman, Lauren was the assurance operations manager at a top national accounting firm. In this role, she led the New England region through merger integration, automation, and digital transformation, driven by her passion for both people and process improvement. Lauren managed cross-functional project teams and fostered a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Throughout her career, Lauren has contributed to thought leadership by serving on several committees focused on enhancing audit efficiency, improving audit quality, and advancing assurance learning. Additionally, she is a champion for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and has served as a member of the Leading Edge Alliance Young Professionals Steering Committee. Lauren has extensive experience onboarding and integrating CPA firms, transitioning practices to new technology platforms, and developing time and cost savings through robotic process automation. Operationally, Lauren has worked with firms of various industry specializations, however from a client service standpoint her specialty is governmental entities with a focus in the affordable housing space.
