Soma is a managing director in Citrin Cooperman's Audit and Attest Practice.

Soma has over 20 years of experience in audit and assurance services to large and international companies. She has led the development and implementation of methodologies related to US and international audits, as well as SOC and sustainability assurance (including assurance over EU sustainability reporting). She has extensive knowledge in testing internal controls (including ICFR and SOC) and providing assurance on internal control systems of large entities. As part of AICPA working groups, she co-authored the Audit Guides on SOC 2 and SOC for Supply Chain, and served in various audit working groups. She is currently serving in the AICPA Task Force for ESG assurance standards.

Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Soma led audit methodology at Mazars USA and global sustainability methodology at Mazars and Forvis Mazars International Groups.
