Citrin Cooperman is pleased to announce that Catherine Taylor, Esq. has received the Top 50 Women Award from Long Island Business News! Since 2000, LIBN has been recognizing Long Island’s top women professionals for their business acumen, mentoring, and community involvement. Cay will be presented with her award at the ceremony on October 18 at Crest Hollow Country Club.
Cay is a principal and attorney in the Trust and Estate Practice, where she advises clients on the areas of gift, estate, and fiduciary taxation and planning, meeting regularly with high-net-worth clients to provide advice on planning issues for domestic and international holdings, and both U.S. citizen and foreign beneficiaries.
In addition to advising her clients, Cay is heavily involved in the community, as a long-time member, and past board member, of the Long Island Parrot Society (LIPS), where she helped spearhead the creation of a shelter and adoption center for displaced parrots. She also has served on the Paralegal Advisory Board for Suffolk County College for the past 20 years, helping to decide the curriculum for their paralegal program each year, and acting as a mentor for paralegals outside of working hours.
