The New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) announced the winners of its Volunteer Award at its 2018 Annual Convention and Expo at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City. Laura Crowley, a recently-promoted director at Citrin Cooperman, was one of the 39 recipients of the newly-created award.
The individuals were selected based on their significant contributions to the NJCPA, their local community, accounting students, and the public. The award recognizes the selfless work that CPAs often perform every day for the betterment of the community and of the profession.
“We are very proud of Laura and we are delighted that she was selected for this prestigious award," said New Jersey Office Managing Partner, Alex Serrano. “Laura is a dedicated individual across the board – she is fully committed in everything that she does, which is one of the many reasons she was recently promoted to a firm director. We are truly glad to have her at Citrin Cooperman,” he added.
The honorees will also be featured in the September/October issue of New Jersey CPA magazine.
