Soula Tsambiras, a partner in the firm’s New York City office, brings more than 15 years of experience in performing and managing audits, reviews, and compilations for a variety of companies. With a specialty in franchising, food service, and employee benefit plans, she specializes in working with multi-unit franchise businesses. Soula has extensive experience auditing restaurants and food services businesses. She guides hospitality business owners to help ensure they are operating efficiently and in line with industry best practices.
Soula also has extensive experience auditing single-employer and multi-employer defined contribution 401(k) plans and defined benefit plans. She provides the type of understanding that is unique to the regulatory and reporting requirements for these types of complex employee benefit plans. Soula guides employee benefit plans to help ensure they are operating according to plan documents and amendments.
As co-leader of the affiliate office in India, Soula has created a shared service center providing support to all of Citrin Cooperman’s U.S. offices. She actively liaises with the entire organization and appropriately allocates resources to fill the demands of the U.S. offices. Under Soula’s leadership, the affiliate has grown by 300% in less than 3 years.
