Experience

Tara Russell is a partner in the firm's Long Island office with over ten years of experience providing audit and accounting services to private companies. She has worked with clients in a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, restaurants, telecommunications, technology, and employee benefit plans.

Tara assists clients and colleagues in researching and proper accounting for complex and new accounting matters, including business combinations, debt and equity financing, and revenue recognition. In addition to providing assurance services to her clients, she develops and presents internal firm training on numerous topics. Tara is also involved in various firm initiatives focused on audit methodologies and innovations.

Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Tara spent six years at a regional firm.
